So last Sunday evening around 7ish our 1996 Ford Windstar had enough. She left me stranded on the side of the road off the hwy about 4 miles north of Naveda. I noticed after I took it off cruise control after having to slow down because of another vehicle that when I tried to excel the RPM's were just revving it UP. This can not be good I said to myself whilst scouting out a good place to pull over. When I stopped smoke just billowed from every which way from up under the van. I got out and looked under the front of the car and straight oil was draining and steaming on the road straight out of the engine or something. Ohhhhhh when it rains it pours.
Immediately before I even popped the hood a man and woman stopped and asked if I needed help...I told them it might be too late for that:) He kinda looked at it but just knew it was bad and I told him I was fine and then they left to go look at a new car..haha. Then Tracey Elefritz came a walkin along with her arm weights, we exchanged names after talking about the situation. She told me I could come hang out at her house about a mile or less down the road if I got scared or anything. I kindly thanked her and told her I would probably stay with the van, she was all I had you know. Then some creeper of an old codger came rollin up in his white mini van and got out and started taking a gander at the damage. He was sweet but overstayed his welcome, knew nothing about what he was talking about but he did open the radiator and pronged it noticing all that was in it was some oil slug at the bottom of it, not good indeed. So people came and went ( the old man was still lingering and told me he saw me from across the hwy from the liquor store and proceeded to tell me how he was living out of his van,,,ahhhhhh creeper) and I finally got ahold of Eli, he was making dinner. When I called he apparently left without grabbing Henry's diaper bag:( but we made it to Walmart later and solved that problem, we'll always need diapers I said. In the meantime another guy stopped and actually pulled over, checked out the engine said I had a cracked head gasket :( and stuck around while I was telling Eli where I was. Later I realized he was sticking around cause he too noticed this old dude was alitte off his rocker. Finally after talking to himself and picking up tire debris from the hwy and throwing it in his van (down by the liquor store) he puttered off. The man said well he seemed harmless enough:) and offered me a soda and after telling him I was fine, he told me that the house closed to me, he knew the people and they are pretty normal but the further you went back they get kinda weird. Then (and here's the kicker) said that across the hwy and over the tracks there lived a registered sex offender HURRAY I said..(good night) and told me what he looked like what he drove and his age. I then told him I was just going to shut the hood and wait in the van, he thought that would be a good idea. Anyway right before Eli got there Tracey (the arm weight walker) rolled up in her black F150 and asked if I was ok, I told her my husband would be there in less than 15 mins. She told me that God has helped her out in so many situations and she felt like she was suppose to give me this, and hands me a 20. I said no and she said it wasnt much and she knew she didnt have to but she wanted to, to help with gas and what not. I started crying, I think cause the whole time I was just calm and the fact that I was stranded really didnt bother me. But when she said all that and unselfishly and out of love gave me this money cause God told her to...forget about it.
So yeah that's my store, we are down to one car and a moped..but its been worse and we ended up leaving the van even after going to Walmart and picking up a tow strap and food and baby stuff, we left her and got home at around midnight(Henry was a freakin angel). Sold it to a local salvage yard in Nevada...done and done.

Uhhhhh he just melts my little heart. He definitely has his very own tooth now, and is roaming the country side on his baby knee caps. I cant believe how lucky I am everyday. Everyday something new happens from Eli getting a new stroller..the super light weight kind that makes it easier to go on walks, to me having a melt down cause Im trying to get him out of the tub by myself and he wants to pull up on the side and possibly hit his head on the wall of the bath tub while Im trying to get the towel wrapped around him and it just ends up getting soaked. Im learning new ways of doing things every day. Its pretty glorious.
Patience is also something Im still learning. I get so upset with myself sometimes for either not being able to do something right and feeling like a bad mom to tripping over three things in a row and screaming out to the skies:) I think I get this from my mom:) I feel so clumsy anymore, what's up with that. Its quite possibly be because our house is too small for us. Yes that has to be it. Sorry Henry..our house isnt really baby friendly. We will move to the country some day!!

I took pictures for Mya Nicole Klundt a couple weeks ago. I've known her since she was born...the first of 5 girls in this Godly house. I love her so much and she reminds me so much of her mother Ana. I was honored to do her senior portrait for this beautiful girl. It was so much fun hanging out with her as an adult. And totally made me feel old:) although she didnt couldnt believe I was 27..which made me feel better:) ha

I just thought you would want to see every face he makes, well not every but you know:) Well its day 4 of Eli being gone at the hair show in Chicago but I am coping and he keeps sending me pictures via phone texts but I love it. He is having fun but is really tired.( I posted those pictures on my FB is you wanna see em) Speaking of Em I am hanging out with Emily my sister in law, we had a slumber party per say last night, watched a romantic comedy and had a little wine and rye bread with butter mmmmmmm:) It was a good night, OH and Hannah my other sister in law came over too,.. we had a tea party at the church earlier and they both were there and I thought hey a girls night is in order. Sophie was with her dad and Ivy as well was with her dad:) but Henry kept us entertained and he was a good boy and slept through most of the movie:) And it has continued to be a good next day as Em spent the night and I made breakfast and later lunch and now she is studying for her A and P class whilst I am writing;) Henry is playing but being kinda loud like I can tell he is getting bored and will soon get fussy:) but he has went down twice this mid morning and is being well fed:) I made some guacamole dip from some avocados that my mom gave me last time I was up, kinda forgot I had them until last night before I came home so I bought some chips, that was our lunch. mmmmmgood

Well I think Emily and I might get out of the house for a little bit. Having fun hanging out with her cause I love her so much and it seems like I havent hung out with her in forever even though I see her pretty much everyday at Tim and Mary's. AND the sun is out soooooo Im outa here.

Well Eli left for Chicago to help his buddy Caleb with a TIGI hair show again this year. He will be gone a week and just left an hour ago. I think tiny and I will manage but I know that we'll miss him mucho mucho. Eli wanted to buy a new laptop just so he could see HB whilst he was away:) I will take lots of pictures of his growth in the mean time and he can just look at all we did while he was gone. Beta on the other hand I wish was gone for a week cause it seems like when its just me with her and not Eli she thinks she can get away with more and whines a heck of alot more!!! Well I am sooooooo ready for the warmth to stay for good this time!! ugh I finally let my toesies breathe some fresh air yesterday, they were pleased with me. Eli informed me it was 70 degrees here yesterday...it was pretty windy, kind of a crisper wind, but yea it was glorious!!! I took some pictures of these to handsome beautiful boys yesterday I am dying to share with you all and especially their mama. Makes me want another little manchild for HB to play with and wrestle with. AHH I keep telling myself wait wait wait a year or two girlfriend...shhhheeesh:)

I could not stop laughing when I was taking these or anything time there after. I felt bad after a while cause these DAV glasses are prescription..ha Anyway he was loving it...mommy snappin it up oogling over this ninth wonder I have created. I love you so much Henry and you are so perfect for me and I wouldnt trade you for a life time supply of oreos..nope wouldnt do it, that's how much I love you:) ha
He's getting so big and his motor skills are further along than they use to be...He is so fun.
Anyway we are going up to Union Star my second home town today for the weekend, just me and the boy. Eli has to practice for a show he is playing this next Thursday so, he is going to use this alone time to the fullest.

He is such a good boy... he hasn't shied away from the camera thus far:) Sooner or later Im sure he will get impatient and fussy and run away from me, (which will still make for good pictures:) but until then I'm gonna continue to snap snap snap away. Eli and I spent Valentines Day indoors. We were going to go to the CIRCUS but then at the last minute decided not to. We also ventured over to Meg's house (Art Feeds founder) to help celebrate in her website launch. It was fun and Henry was a very good guest:) he even got to say alittle something on the live webcam she had going:) ha
Henry fell asleep for most of it, in the midst of all the banter and dance parties in the kitchen going on. The launch of the new website was a HIT! She had about 13,000 hits in the first 10 mins or so!! and about 15,000 hits by the time the night was over. So kudos to you Meg and your super awesome cause, helping schools in the surround areas with their art supplies.
Oh yeah back to the Valentines date...well it wasnt really a date, but Eli and I did get to spend the day together with our little one too. But I just wanted to share what Eli got me even though I stressed about how I did NOT want anything!! but he was like 'well it's not really something you would get for someone you love on Valentines Day' haha I was like ok and while I was racking my brain to figure out what that might be...a shaving kit, a nose trimmer, a bowling ball,(well i would actually like that) a...I couldnt think and it was too big for him to wrap so he just brought it in.....A Scale!! I love it:) First off we have not had a scale since we've been married...and we have recently been working out and I'm always wondering how much Henry weights ssssoooo I really liked it...AND he got it from the Salvation Army for like ten bucks and its metal and one of those industrial looking ones that you might have seen in a hospital rooms back in the day. So its cool and was needed. Ok enough rambling.... <3

I cant believe how the time and memories have flown by how I remember him barely fitting into his car seat, now his feet hang over. He couldnt see in front of him as well and now he is watching tv with us and can see me when I walk into a room and just smiles so big it melts my heart. I love my son so much and I dont know what I would do without him. He's growing fast and all I can think is that I hope Im ready to teach him what he needs to know, I hope he'll be a good kid:) I love you Henry you mean alot to me and your dad.

I just did a shoot in Carthage MO with a friend from church and her little girl. Her mother is putting her in child acting and modeling. And needed a couple head shots. There are more that arent head shots that I will post but these were some of the first ones I sent her. Let me know what you think...are these good head shots? She wanted me to focus mainly on the eyes....OH THE EYES!! Shes got em thats for sure. She has also got the skinniest little legs Ive ever seen:)

Just picking out some of them...there are some many just trying to catch up on pictures. Sorry its been forever.
I had a great time, we made it up to my Grandma Hazel and Grandpa Jay's Christmas...We havent been there in the last two years and this year it was on Eli's birthday AND I got to show off my little bundle of joy. Speaking of which Eli and I get 'The Best Parents Award' because we got to my parents house 3 and a half hours away and we realized that we didnt bring ANY of Henry's stuff except for the clothes he was wearing and some diapers....YEEEAAAHHH Eli did however manage to bring his brand new ukulele. Kelsey told us we should take a picture of Henry naked with it, thanks Kels:)
We got to see my to see everyone including my brother Scot and his family Rian Kylee Myka and Trace from California. Brent and Kels made it in from KY too. We made it before the snow hit. So that was good. Kelsey and I took some fun pictures which I will unveil later:) All in all it was a good year and Im blessed to have my new family and my old one. God is good.

Hope everyone had an awesome new year! We celebrated by doing nothing:) and then later went out on a date with some friends at Crabby's for dinner and HB stayed with his Grandma Mary and Papa Tim for a couple of hours. We ate with Lane, Abby Clevenger, Abby's sister Brooke who moved to town two hours prier, Josh LeMasters, Lynn Fleshman, and Caleb Berry (who was in for the holidays from Chicago). It was a fun evening, but by the time dinner was over we were excited about getting Henry back:) I left Mary my Blackened Salmon Oscar dish;) and we headed home for a long winter's nap. We put HB to bed and stayed up watched the ball drop on the telly, had a kiss, said happy new year and went to bed. Woke up without a care in the world except for the fact that its so cold in our house, I sometimes feel bad when my babies have cold fingers:( So I bundle them up tight, I love that hat.

I am so excited for the holidays with Henry! I know he wont remember them but I will and I know it's going to be a blast, with extended families and food and love. Eli and I both have to work the day after Thanksgiving this year, him because it's Black Friday and me because we are moving into our new building (the old Hank's furniture store on Rangeline). So I think I might head out early to the Chambers on Thursday to help Mary with the *feast making*. I hope it'll be nice that day because Tim asked if I would take family pictures of the people still living in the house, for the church website. I told him yes, of course, but also I was thinking they haven't had a family picture since people have gotten married and opted for a group picture...I could set up a tri-pod! We shall see, I'm sure it'll work.
I am a little sad I won't get to see the "Starians", but Mom called me the other day and asked if they could come down next weekend!! So that's exciting. Eli and I both have to work, but of course they don't care cause they said they would babysit:) I no longer exist..ha.

CCOJ had a tea party for ladies buy Henry was just dying to go:) cousin Ivy was also there in all her glory...I love her. Leanne's little one Kai was there too. Love that hair and the picture where he looks like a little prize fighter..ha so freakin cute he is AH.
Nathan (my brother in law) came later so I thought I would take their family pictures...Bess was there and took some of Hannah and I with our little ones...finally:)

Also I've been back to work this week. It flew by and was alot easier than I thought it would be. Mainly because I knew he was in good hands...Thanks Mary!
I am working for about 3 hours which I could work longer because there is always stuff to do at my job. But I like going in doing my job and leaving...I get something accomplished and still get to be with Henry most of the day. Mary is also watching Sophie my niece who is 2...and she cant seem to grasp that Henry is not Ivy:) This is a normal conversation between her and I:
Sophie: Where is baby Ivy
Me:You mean Henry
Sophie: Hen er y (she makes his name into 3 syllables)
Me: Sophie is Henry a boy or a girl?
Sophie: boy
Sophie: I want to kiss her.
Me: Him
Sophie: Him

I think she'll get it..every once in a while she'll get it right;) oh Sophia you are such a doll!

Henry loves his Aunt Kels!! Thanks for being such an awesome sister:) You took the words out of my mouth when you said being down made you want to live closer.. well it made me miss you too!! You and Brent..I forget how much our personalities and humor is so alike.

Eli and I went to Maple Leaf last Saturday. Its a fall parade that occurs every year in Carthage. This was my first year to go and Henry's too. It was really cold and kinda miserable with the rain and all. We were right on the parade route at 13th and Grand where Eli's aunt and uncle currently live in this gorgeous white house with black and white awnings. Anyway it was fun Ingrid made hot chocolate, coffee, cinnamon rolls..there was everything.
We got to see alot of Eli's side of the family and later on that evening my folks came up for the night and took us out to eat.
I didnt get to take all the pictures I would have wanted cause A. I had to go inside and feed the boy and B. it started raining towards the end.

ps I love the pictures of Ivy I took.. she is a chunk and so beautiful!!

1. Beta is doing so well with Henry, better than I had originally thought. I do think she is getting the 'Lady and the Tramp' syndrome . (feeling left out and put on the back burner)

2. Yes Im getting a little obsessed with blk and wh for the moment:) which isnt a bad thing I might add.

3. Dear Mom, since my playlist is random one of the songs that came up when I went to my blog is a Tom Petty song called 'Girl on LSD' . I find this song humorous, but can see you finding it offensive...before you judge (if you come across this song) listen to it:) and maybe you'll find Tom Petty's lyrics funny like me. Or not, in that case Im sorry...your loving daughter, Breath.

This was from two weekends ago when Trace (my nephew) spent the night with Pop pop and Grandma at our house. All he wanted to do is play golf on the Xbox 360:) He had many expressions and feelings while playing..what a cutie! He was non-stop as a two year old is and so fun...he was happy about everything, and it was great to have gotten to spend so much time with him...and thinking, 'gee Henry is going to be this size in no time Im sure!'
He loved to give hugs and taking pictures of ME I only posted one of 10:) He is so sweet and such a little blessing.

This last week and a half has been awesome...Eli and I flew up to Union Star to surprise my mother for her birthday(Oct 2nd). I wish we had a video of her reaction. It was priceless. I had dad in on the surprise because I called him earlier that day and he said they were planning on coming down, so I had to tell him. SO Eli Henry and I got to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa:) We saw Grandma Pat and Grandma Hazel and Grandpa Jay. I then got the idea to stay the rest of the week, asking Eli first of course, he was totally fine with it cause when do I ever get this much time off and Mom and Dad cant see Henry every weekend like they would want to. So we stayed and got to see many other faces... Aunt Vonya and Uncle Greg stopped by one morning hearing of the child being in town. Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Mitchell...Kent and Ana and the girls, Haddy was very interested in HB..Drew and his girlfriend Kara, who also gave me a fabulous and most needed hair cut whilst I was in St Jo:) Aunt Lesa and the boys...Uncle Danny and Aunt Gwen and cousin Ryan. Anyway here are some pictures from up in the North Country...
